Was playing with some great players and chance upon this situation, which I roughly explained earlier, a picture paints a thousand words so hope it's clearer!

In this situation, the strongest suit for me is Clubs, but dangerous to up-bid as both bidders likely to call me eventually! To bid will be to go against myself, likely.

If King previously keeps bidding against a certain suit, likely King has little of that suit, so partner can throw that suit out to "let him eat".

Under Secrecy, for example:

Players 1,2,3,4. P4 is U.

P1: Bid 1 Clubs.

P2: Bid 1 Hearts

P3: Pass.

U: Pass.

***** ***** ***** ***** *****

P1: Bid 2 Clubs.

P2: Bid 2 Hearts.
.
.

P1: Bid 3 Clubs.

P2: Insist Bid 3 Hearts.

***** ***** ***** ***** *****

Supposed P2 wins the bid and calls for J Hearts:

If you are P2's partner (U have J Hearts): Try to throw Clubs to let P2 trump.

If you are not P2's partner (U do not have J Hearts): Avoid throwing Clubs. Instead throw e other 2 suits.

JUST A GENERAL GUIDE! BEWARE!
