What can I use for the "eye"

I've been having trouble figuring just what can be used for the "eye"...
coz sometimes just when I thought I won.. I didn't coz the game wouldn't
allow me to use the wàn-zǐ (萬子) as the eyes.. and if I'm not wrong ther
ewas also another time where I wasn't allows to use tòng-zǐ (筒子) as the
eyes..

So here's the question, just what can I use for the eye? or rather what
can I NOT use for the "eye"?:L

did you have enough tais in the first place?

hmm i believe its as what teddy said. she might not have enough tais to begin with. as there's no rules what cannot be used for "eye".
