what is 7 consecutive pairs in wahjong? I tried playing any 7 pairs, cannot game; tried playing 7 consecutive pairs any suit, also cannot game! So, must it be 7 consecutive pairs in a single suit and must self-draw? This is frustrating!

yes, it must be in a single suit and must be consecutive number, when want to hu can claim discard tile , example:
11223344556677 or 22334455667788 or 33445566778899
this hand is valued 13 tai, but if you get normal 7 pair with variation of suit or not consecutive number only valued 3 tai

And the 7 pairs is only in Hong Kong WJ and not Singapore WJ
