The Family Buffet War Challenge (13/3/10)

The Viwawa Team claims that this Buffet War Family Challenge was a success.

Monkey seriously do not think likewise.

In my honest and personal opinion,

It was a Flop.
As there were onli a handful of participants thereby making the total number of teams participating only at about 7. ( i am not sure is it 6 or 7 )

I am quite sure that the Viwawa Team handling this competition should had known that the response for this particular competition was poor beforehand as they do the registration online.

Due to the constraint that only family members can sign up to participate as a team, it truely reflects in the total numbers of participants joining.

My personal opinion is that if they knew that the response was lukewarm at best , they should have the flexibility to change the challenge into an open challenge or something else so that to attract more participants as this is the first open challenge held since The Buffet War Game was introduced about 2 months ago.

In this way with a larger turnout , then it will justify the amount of time and resources spent on promoting this event and at the same time creating more awareness for the entire Viwawa Enterprise as this game was held in a public place with high human traffic.

As the slogan promotes ' Why Play Alone ' , i believe if the competition is an open competition with less restriction, a lot of mingling among the particpants might be achieve as they are allowed to choose their partner to participate.

It will raise the standard of gameplay and would also allows opinions and feedback to the Admin Staff as this a really good opportunity for most gamers to meet them in person.

Overall , i was hugely disappointed with this event and hope to see improvements in the future.

It also make me wonder about the previous competition held under the game Stwack and Sushuido whether there was a large number of participants or just also a handful like in this event.

Last but not least , i would also like to make use of this opportunity to congragulates the winner of this Buffet War Family Challenge.

i think because the IT show are in the wkends too so maybe not much ppl when to the challenge. i also thinking of goin but due to last min not free plus my families dun play so never joint

Actually is not the result monkey is interested or watever reasons others think i made this comment.

is just the turnout i m disappointed.
i waste my time n money ( carpark + erp charges) to witness an event onli involving a few ppl...

our top rankers very disappointed to be beaten by unknown players...
but then i think player vs player is very much different from the usual BW we play..
if not for the family members regulations,i would have taken part..
i guess this explains the turn out too..

its the last thing Monkey would wan to see as this is just a game for all to enjoy....

Last but not least , it was onli my intention to voice my own opinion abt the whole event.
others may think otherwise...

Hmm, on hindsight , maybe i should have join but dunno whether the prize is enuf to cover my expenses outlay--->

Tell u something Otte , i and Sage_ kyle both think that if u or Harto (something) would have join, u 2 will beat the rest hands down ( if not feet too) ...but what is the pt of beating only a few ppl onli...and be crown Champion.

The Purpose of having this sort of event/competition to me is more for interactions between players .

I was actually hoping to learn a few tricks from the particpants by physically going down but alas...sigh wasted $1 entering the ERP at Nicoll highway,$1 more at Dolby Ghaut,
Another $2 for entering the wrong building, pay extra $1 to re-enter the ERP and another $ 5.80 for parking at the right building and another $2.90 for lemon tea ...zzz and another $1 for LEAVING the ERP ( super zzzz).

From what i have seen, it was a no Challenge no doubt the name says THE GREAT BUFFET WAR FAMILY CHALLENGE ...

I've played with hartotox before, he's very skillful. But there are other players who has a decent chance of winning.

I was playing PvP the other day. Cherice, Sissywawa and I vs. Ansonchiang, Jas_Lim and Matapoteh. Too bad none of the ranked players entered. Would be an interesting match.

I enter CBD thru the Nicoll highway gantry $1 and they have another Gantry at Dolby Ghaut $1 i think out also must pay $1 at the same Dolby Ghaut Gantry ...zzz its a trap
