I thought private message was previously disabled? Why is it enabled
again?

Is it possible to separate into different channels for players who want
to play with and without skills, like how it is done in big 2?

yea need diff channels......
because once u create new room default is Yes to skill.
so if owner blur or something will end up play games which allow skill.....

also as its newly added today (skills enable)
most people does not know yet and will just click rdy.
