Q on ping hu/xiao ping hu

hi,need to clarify something

if i zi muo a ping hu,is it 4 tai flat or 4 tai and everyone pay double (ie 5 tai)?i'm talking abt in real life,not the way its done in viwawa.

also,if i zi muo a xiao ping hu (becos i have to,had 7 and 9,waiting for 8 only so cannot depend on other's discard),again is it 1 tai plus watever animal or flower i have,or on top of those tais,must double since its a zi muo? (eg if i do the above and got 1 of my flower and an animal,is it 3 tai flat or 3 tai and double ie 4 tai?)

dun really understand ur Q but will try to answer u..
if u zi mo ping hu men qing..depend on ur side got play men qing anot.. is 4 + 1 tai = 5 tai = everyone pay double .. if nv play men qing = 4 tai = everyone pay double too..

for ur 'xiao' ping hu .. i believe is chow ping hu u referring to ? yes is 1 tai + watever animal or flower + everyone pay double.. for ur eg.. if u win on that hand mean u got 3 tais in total and everyone pay double to u..

for ur info zi mo pay double not = to + 1 tai.. unless u all got play rules as zi mo + 1 tai... still no matter what zi mo is everyone pay double but not = +1 tai..

hi, let me make an attempt to help you on this...

I suppose you're talking about playing Mahjong using Singapore rules? hmm 平胡 is 4番. Normally, majority of the Singapore players do not credit an additional 番 to 自摸. However, there're exceptions of course where a mutual agreement is made amongst the players prior to the commencement of the game. So, under such circumstance in which no additional 番 is awarded to 自摸, every player will pay you $16 if you 自摸 (supposed you play $1/$2). In other cases, every player will pay you $8 while the shooter will pay you $16.

In the second scenario that you described, if no additional 番 is credited to 自摸, then 小平胡 + 动物 + 自花 = 1 + 1 + 1 = 3番. This implies that every player will pay you $8 if you 自摸 (supposed you play $1/$2). In other cases, every player will pay you $4 while the shooter will pay you $8.
