Penalties for Cheating, Training, Match Fixing

Dear Viwawa Gamers,

Viwawa would like to remind all players that match fixing, in any form and deemed by Viwawa, is considered as cheating. Any training methods deemed to be unfair to other players will be deemed as cheating as well.

Automatic System Checking
The system runs an automatic check on the game records and flags players whose game records show that they are match fixing. The exact checking criteria will not be revealed, but if you do not wish to be flagged by the system, DO NOT play too many games with the same player. If ever in doubt, email to support@viwawa.com to clarify and do not try to circumvent the stated rules as it only leads to a suspended account.

Creation of Extra Accounts
Making new accounts for unnatural creation of opponents is also a very serious offense. Please refer to http://www.viwawa.com/forums/user-ab...licy.4158.html for more details. Please do not create extra accounts.

Use of External Software
Use of external software to unnaturally gain unfair advantage in the games. It includes but is not limited to bots, solvers, etc. Accounts disabled under this category may be banned permanently, depending on the extent of abuse.

Actions against players who are caught
Any players found to have intent of match fixing will have their account suspended. They will need to send an email to support@viwawa.com from the account's registered email address. This will be clearly stated when trying to log in.

Remaining cash will not be changed, but gold and xp penalty is very likely, together with a suspension period depending on the extent of cheating. If the account has insufficient gold for the penalty, items purchased using gold might be removed instead.

Penalties (for offenses committed from 1 October 2009 onwards)
As far as possible, players who erred will get back their account with a punishment, depending on the extent of each offense. Ban of an account would be the final resort and only implemented on players who show that it is not possible for them to play fairly.

1st Offense
Account suspension up to 1 month
Deduction of gold
For game where offense took place, the following penalties may be imposed
- deduction of experience, typically twice the amount of cheated experience points
- deduction of club experience if player was in a club during period of offense
- removal of items if there is insufficient gold in the account
- removal of all ranking points gained for the month

2nd Offense
Account suspension up to 1 month, or possible permanent ban
For game where offense took place, the following penalties may be imposed
- ALL gold removed
- Reset of game profile (0 experience, level 1, 0 wins, losses, draws)
- ALL game items removed, except cash-purchased items
- ALL ranking points removed
- Deduction of all contribution of club experience by that player if player was in club during period of offense

3rd Offense
Possible permanent ban
Entire account may be reset except for cash balance and items purchased with cash.
Removal of all club contribution

For club leaders, it would be your own responsibility to recruit players whom you can trust not to engage in such activities.
