No it is not like that because i send email to axm and was told it is how many chips you get in your games.

More wins DOES not mean faster level up!

2 ppl play 1 win = 1 point
8 ppl play 1 win = 60 points

Eg you play 100 2player games = 100 wins = 100points
your friend play 50 8player games = 50 wins = 300 points

Your friend level up faster than you lor...and if he plays in Channel B or C his ranking definitely higher....(cos he wins more chips than you)

In conclusion :-

More points = faster level up
Faster level up means higher level BUT NOT higher ranking!
Ranking based on how much chips you win......
