New Speedoku Arena Rules

The gameplay of the Speedoku Arena remains largely unchanged. You play against time to obtain the highest score. The new format will start on the week of 16 Mar 2010.

Main differences are listed below.

1. Instead of buying a number of Arena passes, for every week, you only need to purchase one Arena ticket in order to join the Arena. One ticket per week.
2. One Arena ticket gives 4 hours of playing time. It is tentatively priced at 400 Viwawa Cash.
3. The objective is now to get the highest score possible within this 4 hours.
4. Combo items can be used to get higher scores while playing in the Arena.

PRIZES (Viwawa Cash)

1st -- 2000
2nd -- 1000
3rd -- 500
4th to 10th -- 250

BONUS PRIZE

The bonus prize rewards players of exceptional skills with real money, like in the previous Arena. Every week the bonus prize starts at $20. Every week there is a Bonus Target. E.g. For this week, the Bonus Target is 10,000 points. So any player who crosses this target is eligible for the bonus prize. The bonus prize is divided evenly between players who meet the target, limited to the top 3 players with the highest scores that exceed the Bonus Target. It is not awarded individually to each player.

If no player for the week meets the target, it is snowballed to next week and so on up to a maximum of $100.


As our objective is to encourage more players to participate in the Speedoku Arena, this new format will accord every skilled player an equal chance of winning the Arena.
