Haha, i used to play a game Dou Di Zhu similar to harvest time at young age

This game is so simple but fun
The person who bid the highest (1~3) will become the landlord and gain extra cards
The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all of your cards, by playing them to the table. Cards can be played singly or in certain combinations
I assume you already know how to play big 2.5
Unlike big2.5, Harvest Time combos include

Single

Pairs
A pair of equal ranked cards

Triples
Three equal ranked cards - three twos are highest, then aces, kings, etc. down to three
threes, which is the lowest triple

Triples +1

xxxx(bomb) will double the current bidding

straights singles minimum 5 cards e.g. 10 J Q K A (must be in consecutive rank)
straights pairs minimum 3 pairs e.g. 9 9 10 10 J J (must be in consecutive rank)
straights triples minimum two triples e.g. 4 4 4 5 5 5 (must be in consecutive rank)
2 x Jokers (Rocket) will double up the current bidding, ends opponent turn, it is your turn again immediately

Only one of the peasants must win to achieve victory



My technique is, the peasant right after the landlord, must do whatever to make another peasant win, for example pass if landlord place "small" cards
or use bomb and place "small" cards for another peasant

This game is easy, just play and you will learn more about this, just remember to work as a team if you are a peasant

The cards ranking from high to low: Joker Red-Joker Black-2-A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3. There is no ordering of suits

If u have pairs and pairs of A K Q but not 2, use them as singles to force your opponent to throw 2 out
