Anyone want to meet up for Contract Bridge? I can play at Siglap on
Sundays or any other club meet ups during the day.

Yes, I am bored at home, and real bridge just beats BBO hands down every
time.

PS, I play SAYC and/or 2/1 with most standard gadgets included (Capp,
DONT, RKCB, etc etc). Can play most basic conventions, with the more
complicated ones (Transfer OPENING/Blue club/T-rex/Bacon Torpedo etc)
needing time to learn, but can adapt.

General bidding guidelines:

Opening:
-Open with 13+ points.
-Bid 5 card majors first
-2C is strong. All others above 2C is weak (6-10, 6+ cards)
-1NT is 15-17 points balanced (4333, 4432, 5332)

Responding:
-Respond with 6+ points.
-Change of suit is forcing (1H - 2C is forcing. You must bid when its your turn again)

OVERCALLS:
-Overcall an opponent with 10+ points and 5+ card suit (flexible)

That's about it. We'll keep things nice and simple. Also, download BBO (google it) and try their tutorial, it is fantasic (I CAN'T SAY EXCELLENT HERE? ****ing detector).

Finally, tell me when you would be available online. It's so much easier once you put it in practise. There's a function in BBO which allows partnersh ip bidding training. Look for seiken.

=X I am interested but it is physically impossible for me to go. LOL. I do play on BBO sometimes. My favorite tourney is L&L Goulash. Goulashes gotta love 'em.

I only use the most common gadgets and I'm acquainted with SAYC, precision and some basic 2/1. More familiar with Acol+multi 2s combi (with alot of Brown Sticker conventions LOL)
