i know u ll get what i mean.
most probably this does not relate to gravity, because in the game we don't know how much is the gravitational force.
Maybe you can try asking admin abt gravity rate, so that monkey in free time can devise a formula which computes everything from enemy positions , relative vertical difference in height / distance , wind speed n direction ,terrian, type of dishes use to come out with a fool-proof Targeting Soution

People have done this in Gunbound already monkey.
There isn't a need for the gravity to be known.
It remains standard throughout the game.
You only need variables for a formula. (:

For me, yes I do get what you mean. But do you realise that this situation actually makes upgrading a valuable asset for players? If it's that easy to upgrade your dishes to +5 and above, then there isn't a challenge at all. It would be similar to playing a pre-****** game with some difficulty.

That is why Admin mentioned that they will be releasing an item that PROTECTS your upgraded dishes ! Don't you see, their trying to help make upgrading dishes an easier thing. Moreover, it is definitely UP TO YOU if you choose to upgrade AT ALL. Like I mentioned earlier, you can depend on affinity for extra damage as well, not by simply upgrading the dish to get raw power. Play smart, not play hard. Do note that adding INT is an added advantage as well. I'm a pure INT build, and it's common for me to get consecutive turns over and over again - which actually increases the frequency of my damage. (:
Oh I get what you mean. Actually gravity is more of a derivative of *=ma to me, since gravity is derived from that.
admin 's thread have mentioned that:
  • Increased NPC damage
  • Reduced upgrade success rate
  • Lower Chilli Powder drop rate
did you read the thread carefully?

so, i have no comment if Increased NPC damage and Reduced upgrade success rate.

but not for Lower Chilli Powder drop rate.
today i play for 6 hours, only get 1 bottle of chilly powder.
maybe i quite lucky already, just spend 6 hours to get it.
others might spend more to get it.

what i want to say is:
the damage from NPC (wokie, mokie, bokie) remain high, it 's not fair to us if we always fail to upgrade the dishes.
admin still want to decrease the chilly powder drop rate, it 's like limit the scholarship application forms.

Sorry if I'm mistaken. Which thread? Can you give me the link?

Ok I saw it:
Quote:
By allowing the upgrade to remain at the existing level after any failed enhancement, we are drastically increasing the chances of a high upgrade and will need to take other measures to counter-balance it. This includes but is not limited to:
Increased NPC damage
Reduced upgrade success rate
Lower Chilli Powder drop rate
The above will potentially damage the game experience for a lot of players
This shows that the increased NPC damage, reduced upgrade success rate and lower chilli powder drop rate WILL NOT be implemented. Your turn to read carefully , I bolded it for you. (:
This will only be implemented ONLY if upgrading the dish and failing wouldn't drop the +? stuff.

Furthermore, like I said, upgrading your dish is NOT the only way to get higher damage.
Just have more recipes in the same class to increase the affinity for that dish class to get higher damage.

It's not that your English is poor. You merely misread it only, everyone makes mistakes. (:
Hmm, hardly? lol.
Just try winning every single game to have a higher chance getting those upgrade items.
I got 2 sugar and 1 chilli after just 5 rounds of winning.

Good luck!

[QUOTE=LunarShadows;156004]@mythz,
Actually, upgrading for wasabi and sugar just gives it ONE stats.
Upgrading a wasabi over a wasabi would just erase the first stats and replace it with the second upgrade one.

So does that also mean that wasabi and sugar cannot be upgraded on d same equipment? or isit only wasabi and wasabi?

Only wasabi and wasabi.
I rephrase. wasabi adds STR, and resets the original STR; sugar adds INT, and resets the orginal INT, clear enough?

just a suggestion admin, why don't dropped 1 or 2 level back instead of dropping to zero straight away for failed upgrading...

Oh I think last week, I suggested something similar. I suggested that when the upgrade fails, there's a random number of levels your dish will drop. But it got ignored though.
