Erm... Firstly if you want to play 10s you have to go another channel but not the 5s channel.

Oh... When you enter the game, you should be able to see the list of channels, from there you could choose the channel you want to go. Just click on the channel with the 10s words, that channel timing is 10s but not 5s. If you still think that 10s is still too fast for you you could trying going to the free channel which is the classic room.
