I have played 明星斗地主 before, so I know this is a great game. admin isn't
giving enough guide, so I decided to come up with my own tutorial.

Most important thing to note is that it is just like playing big2 here,
but it is played as a team game (so, no point using big cards to
dominate your partner when the landlord passes his turn). If either one
of you finishes the hand of cards before the landlord, both of you are
winners.

and there are greater varieties to the way you can play your cards. see
below

1)单顺
e.g. 23456, 234567, 2345678,23456789,2345678910,2345678910J...23456789 10JQKA
min: 5 cards, max:card 2-A

2)双顺
e.g. 223344, 22334455, 2233445566, 223344556677, JJQQKKAA, etc


3) 飞机
e.g. 333444, 444555, 555666, 666777, JJJQQQ, 333444555,333444555666,
333444555666777,etc

4)飞机 +翅膀
e.g. 333444 + any 2 different cards, 777888999 + any 3 different cards,
333444 + any 2 pairs of cards (e.g. 333444 + JJQQ, 555666777 + 3 pairs
of cards (e.g. 555666777 + 334488)

5)三带一
i.e. 3 cards of the same number plus any one card

e.g. 333+4 , 444+3

6) 三不带 (Nothing new)

e.g. 333,444,555,666,777

7)三带二 (Nothing new)

i.e. also big2 style

e.g. 333+55, JJJ33, AAA66

8)炸弹 (Bomb.Nothing new)

e.g. 3333,4444,5555,6666,7777

9)炸弹带二( Bomb plus any 2 cards)

e.g 3333 + any 2 cards, e.g. 3333+4+5

10)双鬼(2 jokers)
THE MOST POWERFUL OF ALL. can use it to counter any bombs, and nothing
is stronger than it. Usually used before your last card. btw, red joker
is bigger than black joker (if u are playing single card in any normal
game)

11) 双鬼带二(2 jokers + any 2 cards)

This combination is also possible, but will not have the powerful effect
mentioned in point 10. Can be countered using bombs.

I think that is all you need to know to play this game (hope i didnt
miss out anything important). Feel free to add anything to this
discussion thread.

双鬼带二.. confirm this is a valid combination? not seen this in wikipedia. Btw, not juz 单顺 cannot contain 2. In fact it's ALL combinations cannot have 2, and also cannot have joker - except for those combinations with additional cards attached. The attaching cards then can contain 2 or 1 joker - take note, cannot contain both jokers. jus 1 joker. for e.g., for the 3+2 combination (big 2 full house combi), the 2 behind cards attached then can have 2 or a joker, but not the front part of the combination - like 33322

one more combination not mentioned - 4 same cards + 2 pairs. for example, 6666 + 4455

yes, that's a valid combination in 明星斗地主. Haven't tried it out in viwawa though, but shouldnt be a problem unless viwawa doesnt allow players to use that combi.

Can the joker represent any card?

I realised that for single card, spade 2 cannot be use against heart 2. (Same applies to other cards)

the jokers can't become any other cards (drop your notion of other card games), just think of them as properly ranked cards, just bigger than the rest, by themselves, the red joker is bigger than the black...

when will the bid get doubled?

as in, the landlord won the bid by 3
but midway in the game the winning bid became 6.

is it because a bomb is thrown?

if so, will it be doubled again when another bomb is thrown?(ie. bid becomes 12)

the bid is doubled every time a bomb or rocket is thrown...
