I don't mind to abandon if it is requested right at the start. Some players just don't want to play with higher levels, assuming themselves that they would definitely lose.
BUT... don't ask to abandon just because someone made a long word in the first turn or built a big gap in score. It is not fair to the other player to abandon. And if you're a high level yourself, shame on you if u ask to abandon just because of that. You should know that the game can easily be turned with a longer word.

Yes. Agree with all of you. I would definitely abandon if other players wishes so. Even without a kind request, just before the game or the 1st two matches! However, some "pros" blatantly loves to 'bully' people who are weak. There's this person who I do not wish to mention, always won me due to his experience in GroWord's 'weird' words, luckiness and "non-changing-board" technique, proposed an abandon when I left a great margin in our points at the last few rounds of the game. Weird huh :X I proposed abandons in a kind sentence, to him, and yet did not abandon. When I refused to abandon, he uttered some distorted vulgarities at me. D: It's like that...

Agree with all? There are 2 sides - agree to abandon and NOT agree, which one?
"Bullying" and "Chickening" are different, don't be utterly confuse with them. "Bullying" - if a player always "chase" after you in Open Channel (your game room) and always win over you, then that consider "Bullying". "Chickening" - wants to compete in Arena and yet want to choose the opponent (ONLY those who seems equal fight / lesser) to play with, that's "chickening". Once enter Arena, you should play whoever the opponent (pro/****) is, no choice - it's not a matter of fair / unfair, that's the rule of this Arena created. There should NOT be a abandon once entered Arena, if you think you'll lose, there is a button - [QUIT]. If you have emergency, (leading or trailing), just [QUIT] if you say so you are not a "kiasu" person. "Changing Board" - why should your opponent "pass" to change board as you wish? Why have to play with your rules? Just follow the rules set by VWW. What is the objective of playing a game? If you tell me it's just for "Fun", then why make all the fuss?
