Dear Groword Players

We would like to round up more information on the bug reports that have yet to be nailed in Groword. Those who had encountered it, please provide more information about it, and the sequence of events that led to it. Once we can replicate the error, it will be easy to fix it.

Display opponent forming words not on the board

Turn hangs when using skill, ends up with missing a turn

Do give more details that might help with the investigations. Other bugs can be reported as well, just post below.

The swap tiles skill - suppose to click 2 tiles, however when you click on the first tile it doesnt allow you to click the 2nd tile. Instead the 1st tile just flipped twice.

In addition to Creamsssss' report, I've frequently skipped a turn and our dearest opponent has increased chances to hit the scoreboard .

Could Admin also clarify the number of times that "swap tiles" (I've purchased this skill) is granted in each game? If the 1st is a lemon, the 2nd might not appear till end of game and our opponent (whom presumably purchased the same skill) has more than 3 times "swap tiles".

Last but not least, I wonder why my "swap tiles" is paralysed when I don't use till mid of game, ie. it appears only 1 time in the entire game and it deprives me of other skills as well, such as, a letter n rain. If I don't use the skill subsequently, it appears only once in latter games.

Do u consider the above full of bugs? TK U

dun think so this is a bug...

after we clicked on the skill 'swap tile' or 'replace tile'. we cannot cancel the use of the skill.

for example, during the game.. i accidentally pressed swap tile.. then i cannot type anything after the using the skill.. is there any way i can cancel the use of skill after i clicked on it?

sorry for my poor english, it maybe difficult to understand.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is due to a bug...

Yest i played w Itagaki n when my pts ahead, he suddenly left N i was given a DRAW.. (hmm..strange..) and he came back a few seconds later n said "dc" (i take it as accidentally disconnected??) so i gave him benefit of the doubt and played with him another game. THEN, the very same thing happened again when my pts were ahead of him, he left before the end of the game but i got a DRAW again!! He even got the ****k to come back... i left!

Questions:-
* Did he disconnect intentionally?? (he was back in a few seconds..)
* Is this a new way to maintain one's ranking?? (keeps only wins n draws...)
* Shouldn't there be a penalty for leaving before game ends??
* Is this a new way of cheating in Groword??
* Doesn't this show how unsporting a high lvl player can be??
*Anybody else kena this stunt from him??
*Is it a bug??

Err, sorry admin, i hope i'm in the right thread...
Other than bringing this out into the open, what else can i do??

When your opponent leaves, he/she will get a penalty and a loss. It is the maximum penalty and usually much worse than going through the match and losing it.

You will still get a win if you had scored at least 20 points in the match.

Doesn't sound like he's trying to cheat, as he will lose out eventually. Might be a really bad connection?

btw, we are looking into the other bugs reported. Currently not very clear yet, we're trying to replicate the problems.

well, most pp i play with gets penalty when they leave suddenly but not him... even though the pts were much more than 20 (but i didnt take note of how many pts) when he got his "dc" and we both got a draw...twice...

anyway, thanks for trying to iron out all the problems..=D

also, is it a bug when u miss yr turn twice when the comp hangs for awhile?? this happens once in a while esp when the comp is lagging..

experienced that too...and...sometimes the pots malfunction although they are in use...

2 Pots and halfway one or both pots malfunction (ie. we can't see the flowers growing).

I don't know whether this affected my score, couldn't count since I didn't know whether my flowers were actually growing or not. Do look into this matter. Thank you!

reporting. This only happens once, after i submit the word, the rain didn't fall. This happened throughout the game, so my flower can't grow at all. I asked my opponent but he said the rain is falling just fine on his side.

in the next game and every game after that, everything is normal.
