Then if next time when we have multiple pets. Wouldn't we have to spend alot of gold on pet food if their happiness keeps dropping even if we don't play.

Okay, let's say if we just use one pet and let the others drop to 0. If we want to use the other pets again, we would have to spend alot of gold on pet food in order to increase back it's happiness.

And plus if we wanna use different pets because it has certain abilities which is good for boss/quest. Then we would have to maintain 2 or even more pets at the same time, which would take up a lot of gold.

Like this, it would be really tough if we wanted to earn extra gold for other stuff/games because we would still have to save some gold for pet food.

Thus, I suggest that the pet's happiness does not decrease when we are not playing bw at all. Unless the price is decreased or at least allow it to be obtained from a random drop in a normal game. This is just my opinion.

But in real life if u have many pets u will have to spend more money/time to feed and take care of them...

In real life a bigger family will have more children too and they will also eat more and u will also need to spend more time to take care of them.

So its very simple....depends on individual abilities..if u think u can ,have more pets/children...if u think u cannot then stop at 1.

Regarding cost pet happiness dropping over time, if you do the calculations, it costs 7500/30=250 gold to increase happiness by 24 points, or approximately 72 matches (0.3 happiness per match). It is really not a lot, given that many players probably earn that amount within 2 to 3 matches.

I think most players are more concerned about the happiness dropping when pets aren't even in the matches.

If you wish to save, keep the pet happiness at minimum, just above 10. Even if you decide to stop playing for a week, you'd lose less than 250 gold worth of happiness at most.
