I like it but can keep the pve also so I can continue to fast game with my friends if I keep losing in arena XD.

The player team distribution in any match would pair the highest level with the lowest level so that the total level difference between each team is kept at minimum.

Why only use level to measure the difference between players? Admin, please also see non cash user hard to get high upgrade dish, can't win against rich players with their fancy glow dishes.
Say if get high lvl partner who don't use cash so only use low upgrade dish and get lower lvl opponents but rich so have bought alot of chillis and preservatives and have +6-+10 bao.... then die lor.... unless opponent really bobo shooters....
I say this to represent myself and those players who don't use cash which I think are much more than cash users.

My suggestion, can you standardise the food upgrade so everyone has the same upgrade, say all dishes becomes +5 when enter arena...

About can't choose partner, I got a question, if we have block some players, is there any chances that we'll be match with/against them in arena? In sushido, I still got matched with those ppl that I have blocked If can get matched, no good le... alot of ppl become enemies now because of bw, then if see again in match, I bet they'll start shooting each other even if they are in the same team

Blocked users can appear in the same match. But yet to decide if they can be your partner, as it is difficult to match you if you've blocked many players already. Might end up with players blocking everyone whom they do not want to be partner with.

Capping dish upgrades is one possibility to maintain fair play, but those who have high upgrades might find not much point in upgrading anymore. (except when new boss arrives)

Yes, PVE will still be there. PVP Arena is just a new channel.

Admin, you talked as if I blocked many ppl, only 20 ppl in my block list le.... I normally block ppl who swear all the time. Not because of fighting de...

If the PVP arena really created without capping dish upgrade, then only suitable for high lvl (high INT)players with high upgrade dishes. Then might as well put the minimum lvl higher than lvl 5. That poor lvl 5 player may end up waiting for his/her turn against high INT players. Shoot once then die cos got 2x +10 bao Then the partner go solo without water or milk, siao le.... Maybe lvl 20 (or higher), so can bring water to help partner.

Personally, I don't think this new channel will be crowded, I made many friends through bw, it's hard to make new friends in arena, cos only play once then, change partner again. But some players will find it a pleasure to KO other players since in PVE, that may cause their names to be cursed in forum

Admin, maybe better the match not base on lvl only, but check players' INT.
If not, this channel would be a bully channel only
High int bully low int.
Rich ppl bully poor ppl (read : high grade dishes bully low grade dishes)

but i think admin really want to create pvp arena channel already, then let them cre8 ba. :p we can try it, if not fun then just leave :p
i also think pvp channel arena wont crowded for a long time.

Why 2nd channel is only for practise? (no gain gold/xp)
I think maybe better make it can gain xp & gold. then it more fun coz we can choose our partner(s) & enemies.
(since low lvl also no come there for practise, most players there are high lvls and play there for fun).

I agree with what you say before the arena even started that there was already problems in buffet wars like shooting own team mate or call them some unpleasant words and even want to challenge the newbies in PVP.If this continue to happen there will surely be lesser people playing buffet wars like wahlord which are now very little people playing.

I stongly agree with you I got a friend called yuze who was bullied by the pros need some ideals to solved this problem in buffet wars.

IF there were to be a PVP channel, there should not be any limits on dishes /equips....

In war ,you expect fairness?
When Japan invades the whole of South East Asia and did a surprise attack on pearl harbour without a formal declaration of war, FAIR?

In war ,you use your best equips and tactics to win.

THIS IS BUFFET WAR, IF you think is unfair to meet a higher lvl player with supposedly higher INT and STR with better dishes and equips.......JUST DUN JOIN AND FIGHT.

WHEN you think you are ready then you join .

Monkey would suggest that instead of capping dishes/equips..

Try having some difficult maps to implement the PVP whereby at least reducing the effects of high level dishes or direct straight shots.

Make places whereby players can hide from direct straight shots ..

Make jumping difficult..u miss landing on the spot u die..

More high ,more far shots will be required.

Perhaps a bigger map might helps...i dunno

Those heavy dishes will be difficult to aim (eg:durian, crab,marzimomo cake)
Those light dishes will be hard to do High shots (eg: chicken wing,prawn,peach)
