Does upgrading increase your affinity for the class of that dish?
If it does, then it's safer to upgrade on different dishes of the same class.

I study Pure Physics, and so far the 3 laws I learnt about Newton, none of them is about gravity. Though, I just googled it up and found out that there's a theory Newton made about gravity, but it doesn't apply to the planet Mercury. It's simple to use for calculations compared to Einstein's alternative, so it's pretty much accepted for calculations. Anyway it's theory, not law - not sure how different are they though.

Back to topic: I agree with monkey with that one. I think it's unless you have a lot of chilli powders, you shouldn't put all into one recipe, because putting all into one recipe is taking far too much risk.

What I suggest is upgrading 2 different recipes that you normally use - one for close range and another for far range. It's definitely up to you though.

edit: it's a theory, not a law. Not arguing on that one though, off-topic.

Dear Admin,

How to upgrade? Does it mean that we need to get chilli powder 1 then can upgrade instead chilli powder 2 without 1?

How to apply chilli powder to upgrade anyway?

@jackup09
No you don't have to.
Chilli powder 1 upgrades recipes and other stuff that are in the level range of 1-10,
while Chilli powder 2 upgrades recipes and other stuff that are in the level range of 11-20.
Admin mentioned this on some other thread, be sure to read the other threads clearly.

To apply upgrade, click on inventory, then click on the item you want to upgrade, then click on the chilli, and click on the chef hat to upgrade.

i have no comment if:
  • Increased NPC damage
  • Reduced upgrade success rate
However, if Lower Chilli Powder drop rate, then it seems not fair to those lvl 10++ who always fail to upgrade their dishes.

Why do i say so?
1. yes, we can buy skills, what if the person does not have $$ to buy skills?
2. our dish damage become original again, but the NPC (wokie, mokie, bokie) still apply same damage, their damage is much more higher than the original damage.

let me tell you another situation:

it 's very hard to get scholarship to study in viwawa university. the examination is professor lvl, that means it 's hard to pass the examination and graduate from viwawa university. however, viwawa university still limit the application forms, maybe only 10% of the scholars get the chance to apply the scholarship. since the application forms are limited, maybe i have to wait for another 7 more years to get the application form and get the scholarship. do you get what i mean?

it 's very hard to upgrade our dishes successfully. the upgrading chance is so low, that means it 's totally very very very hard upgrading our dishes to +5 till +10. however, the game still limit (lower) the chilly powder drop rate, maybe i have to play 15-30 matches or more to get 1 bottle of chilly powder. since the chilly powder drop rate is low, so maybe i have to wait for another few days or weeks to upgrade the dishes if i do not play buffer war for long hours per day. does it make any sense?

again i have to say, the damage from NPC (wokie, mokie, bokie) remain high, it 's not fair to us if we always fail to upgrade the dishes.

i think he is talking about newton 's second law.
*=ma,
where it is free fall,
a remain unchanged and it is 9.8 ms-2.
i know u ll get what i mean.
most probably this does not relate to gravity, because in the game we don't know how much is the gravitational force.

Actually, upgrading for wasabi and sugar just gives it ONE stats.
Upgrading a wasabi over a wasabi would just erase the first stats and replace it with the second upgrade one.

Who mentioned that the drop rate will be decreased? Are you referring the returning of the upgrades from +1, +2, etc to +0? If you are, then you should know that not only upgrading will you get extra damage - you can get extra damage from making use of affinity.

For me, yes I do get what you mean. But do you realise that this situation actually makes upgrading a valuable asset for players? If it's that easy to upgrade your dishes to +5 and above, then there isn't a challenge at all. It would be similar to playing a pre-****** game with some difficulty.

That is why Admin mentioned that they will be releasing an item that PROTECTS your upgraded dishes ! Don't you see, their trying to help make upgrading dishes an easier thing. Moreover, it is definitely UP TO YOU if you choose to upgrade AT ALL. Like I mentioned earlier, you can depend on affinity for extra damage as well, not by simply upgrading the dish to get raw power. Play smart, not play hard. Do note that adding INT is an added advantage as well. I'm a pure INT build, and it's common for me to get consecutive turns over and over again - which actually increases the frequency of my damage. (:

Oh I get what you mean. Actually gravity is more of a derivative of *=ma to me, since gravity is derived from that.

Chilli Powder Grade 2 For ?!
Seriously, you people need to open up you eyes. I think I already repeated this more than 3 times across the Buffet Wars threads.
Grade 1 is for upgrading equipments that are in the range of level 1-10, Grade 2 is for upgrading equipments that are in the range of level 11-20, Grade 3 is for upgrading equipments that are in the range of 21-30.
