Default Bidding

Once I bidded for 1 sack and kena scolded by one of the players in the room. He told me not to bid 1 sack cuz it is "very loser".

And I rebutted him by saying, it is my choice how many sacks I wanna bid, no?

And obviously he is not very happy. So the next round, he bidded 1 sack. Rolling my eyes, I asked, now who's the loser?!

Guess what he said?

"Letting you have a taste of your own medicine"

SHEESH. Absolutely childish behaviour.

Well, in my opinion, I am bidding 1 sack because I am not very confident of winning that round. So I won't wanna risk losing so many points. I would rather win small than lose big. To me, this is a calculated move.

What say you?

according myself, bid 1 u can win little bit of xp and gold, but if u lose is still the same score that u'll get...... -5, so nothing to lose if u bid 3 on your bidding ..

if u sure that u'll win maybe u can ask admin to add the bidding phrase to 5 or maybe 20 sacks

just a game fren....most important is u're enjoy playing harvest time....

let me clarify first that the person was not me...
but usually when i open a room,i will put "only 3 bids"..
but still there are some people maybe from china or thailand who still go for 1 bid, ofcourse after the game,i ssay "byebye" to them..haha
i don't like playing 1or2 bids because its a waste of time..

wad the heck is only 3 bids table
dou di zhu is meant to have 1 bid and 2 bid and people have a right to bid those
in fact i think people abuse the limit at 3 by just bidding that cos it totally kills off strategy...i believe the original game allows any of the other 2 people to double if their confident of defending against the landlord. that should be instituted here to punish errant bidders.

different room owners have their own way to play...
just like sushido, some of them don't allow skill..
if they don't like, thay can always open another room or join other room...
still there are some who prefer to play only 3 bids..
